因傷缺席近2場比賽，Edwin Encarnacion今天(10日)歸隊馬上扮演英雄，9局下掃出再見逆轉2分砲，幫助藍鳥創造7連勝。
9局下落後1分面對馬林魚終結者A.J. Ramos，1出局一壘有人時，Encarnacion瞄準第1球速球攻擊，扛出中外野再見2分砲，幫助藍鳥4比3逆轉勝。
Encarnacion繞過三壘準備回到本壘時，還先用手勢向隊友示意肩膀有傷，不要有太激烈的慶祝動作，他說：「我不想再受傷了。」
擊出生涯第4支再見轟的Encarnacion說：「我就是在等待直球，他第1球投出速球，而我抓住了這個機會。」
藍鳥總教練John Gibbons認為Encarnacion是球隊不可或缺的一員，「這顯現出Eddie(Edwin Encarnacion)在打線之中有多重要，因為他能打出關鍵一擊。」

「怪力男」Giancarlo Stanton擊出單場雙響砲，馬林魚還是輸球，Stanton目前21轟、51打點都是全大聯盟最多。
藍鳥奪得7連勝，賽後30勝30敗剛好回到5成勝率，落後美聯東區第1名洋基(33勝25敗)有4場勝差。
